Data deletion instructions.

How to ask us to delete your personal data — including data we received through WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook — and how facilities disconnect their accounts from Soham Enterprises.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

1. Choose what applies to you

You messaged a clinic or hospital

The facility is responsible for your patient data, and we process it on its behalf. Ask the facility, or ask us and we will forward your request to it within 2 working days and delete the data on its instructions.

You contacted Soham Enterprises

If you asked us for a demo or messaged us, we are responsible for that data. Ask us and we will delete it.

Your facility uses our Services

Disconnect your WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook account (section 3) and ask us to delete your account data. We delete it within 30 days of your request or the end of your contract.

You signed in with Facebook

If you connected accounts using Facebook Login for Business, you can also remove Soham Enterprises in your Facebook settings under “Apps and websites”. Then ask us to delete the data (section 2).

2. How to send a request

Email info@sohamenterprises.co.in with the subject “Data deletion request”, or message us on WhatsApp at +91 93231 88212. Please include:

  • your full name;
  • the WhatsApp number (with country code), email address or Instagram / Facebook name you used;
  • the clinic or hospital's name, if you were messaging a facility;
  • what you would like deleted — for example, everything, or only your messages.

To protect you, we may ask you to verify that the number or account is yours — for example, by sending your request from the same WhatsApp number — before we delete anything.

3. For facilities: disconnecting your accounts

  1. In Meta Business Suite, open your business settings and find the WhatsApp Business Account (or the Instagram account or Facebook Page) connected to Soham Enterprises.
  2. Remove Soham Enterprises' access — it appears as a partner or connected app.
  3. Email us from your registered account address to confirm that you would like all of your data deleted, or tell your account manager.

As soon as access is removed, we stop accessing Meta's platforms for your facility and revoke the related access tokens. We then delete your WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook data, and your patient data, within 30 days — after returning any data you ask us to export.

4. What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement within 2 working days, with a reference number.
  2. Verification of your identity, if needed.
  3. Deletion from our live systems — and from our service providers, including our technology partner One Learn AI — within 30 days. If we process your data for a facility, we delete it on the facility's instructions within the same period.
  4. Confirmation to you when deletion is complete. Deleted data is removed from our backups within 90 days.

5. What we may keep

We keep only what the law requires, and only for as long as it requires:

  • security and processing logs, for at least one year, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 require;
  • invoices and accounting records, as tax and company law require;
  • medical records that a facility is legally required to keep. The facility decides about these, and we tell you if they apply;
  • a record that we received and completed your request, without the deleted data itself.

6. Data held by Meta

WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are operated by Meta, which keeps its own copy of some data under its own terms. For the WhatsApp Cloud API, Meta has said that message content is kept for a maximum of 30 days. To manage data Meta holds about you, see the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.

7. Need help?

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, contact our Grievance Officer — details are in section 18 of our privacy policy. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
